Joe's Blue Plate Café, (frequently shortened to 'joe's) is tucked away discreetly in it's own private courtyard, yet conveniently just yards away from Abington Street, Northampton's main shopping thoroughfare. It is a lofty former warehouse, that before we bought it in 1986 had also previously been used as a music venue-we have it on good authority (one of our valued customers) it hosted the Beatles in the 1960's!

Joe's enjoys Space and Light, contrasting with its elder sister restaurant Buddies NYC, and complementing our guests sophistication. Truly our 'Finer Diner', Joe's offers white napkin dining, with all the quality and attention expected by our valued guests. We welcome you to enjoy any occasion.

Whether you would like an intimate post theatre dinner, a quick business lunch, a shoppers respite, a friends fun catch-up or a cheerful family gathering, Joe's is a truly flexible dining venue.

Joe's also uniquely has it's own private dining room, where we can provide your own wait staff & bar tender. You can order from various prix fixe menus, or with our chefs, you can arrange a buffet to your own budget & tastes, or indeed order from our full menu. Our private dining room is perfect for all occasions; wedding receptions, special birthdays, business meetings etc

Joe's also enjoys an oasis of a garden within the town centre that allows al fresco dining, weather permitting!
